An age-old conflict comes into focus: a woman’s need to move collides with her need for stuff. In the midst of a lyric dance phrase, Nicoll becomes steadily overwhelmed (and literally weighed down) by an accumulation of meaningless belongings. Her determination, combined with her desire to remain elegant, results in an absurd and darkly comic battle between grace and materialism.
