Untitled # 1 follows the stages of life from birth to death in 12 minutes. Inspired by Shakespeare=s AAll the worlds a stage speech from As You Like It, Ann Carlson=s choreography uses a finely nuanced, gestural vocabulary to  explore  relationships, self-discovery, artificiality, physical decline, and the constant struggle to survive. Untitled #1 is a powerful example of the unique work of this internationally acclaimed performance artist and choreographer.
